Return Policy

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

RETURNS

All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and/or unused condition, with original tags and labels attached.

RETURN PROCESS

To return an item, please email customer service at enquiries@springfieldtoolmerchants.co.uk to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Number. After receiving a RMA number, put a copy of the RMA number & reason for return inside the package, place the item securely in its original or another suitable packaging, and mail your return to the following address:

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

 

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least five (5) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

 

Warranty 

Tool Warranty Policy - Warranty Coverage 

All tools sold by Springfield Tool Merchants / Springfield Machinery Services are supplied with a 90-day warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of sale.

This warranty covers faults that arise due to defective parts or workmanship under normal, intended use during the warranty period.

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery or collection.

What warranty covers: 

Mechanical or electrical faults caused by defective components, 

Failures that occur under normal operating conditions,

Tools that become inoperative through no fault of the user. 

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will, at our discretion: Repair the item, Replace the item (or equivalent), Provide a partial or full refund.

What the warranty does NOT cover:

General wear and tear,

Misuse, abuse, neglect or incorrect operation,

Use outside the manufacturer's intended purpose,

Overloading & improper power supply or incorrect voltage,

Damage caused by drops, impacts or transportation after delivery,

Consumable items (including but not limited to blades, brushes, belts, batteries, seals, filters),

Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties,

Water ingress, corrosion or environmental damage,

Tools returned in a condition inconsistent with normal use may be rejected under warranty.

 

Warranty claims are assessed after inspection

No warranty work will be carried out without confirmation from us

The warranty applies to the tool only and does not cover consequential losses, loss of earnings or downtime

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Items must return unused and in the same condition as it arrived.
  • Items must be returned in appropriate packaging.
